Geert-Jan Beijering has recently taken up the role of Managing Director of Aviko Rixona and has joined the Aviko Board. He brings extensive international experience across a range of commercial and leadership positions in sales, marketing, product management, and business management.

Geert-Jan Beijering has recently taken up the role of Managing Director of Aviko Rixona and has joined the Aviko Board. He brings extensive international experience across a range of commercial and leadership positions in sales, marketing, product management, and business management.

Geert-Jan has a strong track record in leading businesses both within and outside Cosun, the agricultural cooperative of which Aviko is a part. He has led various complex projects and is known for his focus on collaboration and delivering results. Since 2023, Geert-Jan has been working within Cosun, where he was responsible for strategic programmes focused on operational excellence, commercial transformation, and value creation.

Global growth

Aviko and Cosun have full confidence in Geert-Jan and see him as the right person to further shape and accelerate Aviko Rixona’s global growth strategy in the years ahead. Geert-Jan succeeds Maikel van Bakel, who was appointed CEO of Cosun Beet Company, one of Aviko’s sister companies, in September 2025.
